Ariel Walden, a native of Lubbock, Texas, is the producer of Lubbock's First News and the Chad Hasty Show on NewsTalk 790 KFYO. She has been with KFYO since May of 2011. In addition to writing various opinion blogs and podcast interviews, she is also the author of the "Geek Girl Report," a technology-based blog published every Monday morning on KFYO.com. Ariel is a graduate of Texas Tech University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media and Communications. In her spare time, she is an avid video gamer and also enjoys drawing and writing.
