Author and Former Weight Loss Show Contestant To Hold Book Signing

Facebook

An author and former contestant on “The Biggest Loser” will be signing her book at a local United Supermarket.

Abby Rike will sign her book “Working it Out, a Journal of Love, Loss, and Hope” at the United Market Street at 98th Street and Quaker Avenue on Wednesday, October 19th from 10 to 11 a.m.

Rike’s husband and two kids were killed in a car accident in 2006, and her health declined considerably following that event. In 2009, she joined the contestants on “The Biggest Loser”, and went from weighing 247 pounds to 147 pounds by the show’s December finals.

The event is free to attend, and copies of Rike’s book will be on sale for $16.49 per copy.
