Art Martin Discusses Issues In Lubbock ISD School Board Race

Monday on The Chad Hasty Show, Art Martin, candidate for Lubbock ISD School Board, joined Chad in the KFYO studio to discuss issues in the race.

Martin described his history and experience qualifying him for the position, and discussed issues in the race including school funding and budgeting.

Of the purpose of the school board, Martin said,

We all want what's best for our kids, there's no question about that, but we also want a quality educational opportunity for our children, and the question is how to do that. There's always a limited amount of money that's going to be available at any point in time...It think the challenge for the school district it to use the money that it has available to it to provide the best educational opportunity for students.
