Friday on The Chad Hasty Show District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the show to talk about all the latest news from Washington, D.C., including the upcoming North Korean nuclear weapons summit.

In addition to the weapons summit in Singapore, Arrington and Hasty discussed the status of the farm bill, the new Veteran bill, and more.

While talking about President Trump's tactics regarding the North Korean nuclear weapons summit, and the possibility that the United States may have to resort to military force, Arrington said,

This president has been willing to do something the last commander in chief hasn't, and I think that's working in our favor. It's that whole 'peace through strength' that we're bringing back, this president in particular, and I think it's causing the right dynamic for us to try to solve these problems peacefully. And that's what we should do if we can.
