Quite a few people had to spend the night in a busy Texas airport due to winter weather.

At least 1,000 travelers spent the night at DFW International Airport as flights were cancelled due to the weather conditions.

The Associated Press reports that the passengers were given toiletries, blankets, and cots for their stay through Wednesday morning.

The warnings expired mid-morning, and roads into the airport were clear.

DFW Airport is the world’s eighth-busiest based on passenger traffic, according to the AP.
