San Antonio Man Charged With Sexual Assault, Burning Teen Girl’s Face With Lighter

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A South Texas man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl who also says her face was burned with a cigarette lighter.

Bexar County jail records Saturday did not immediately provide information on Arnold Quintero. The 21-year-old San Antonio man was arrested Friday on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, sexual performance by a child, assault of a child and evading arrest.

A warrant says the girl told investigators that Quintero earlier this year held her against her will at a house. She says she was beaten and a lighter was used to burn the side of her face. The teen told investigators that Quintero allegedly took nude photos of her before she was assaulted.

Details weren't immediately available on an attorney for Quintero.
