Chickens will again be a big topic at City Hall tonight as the Lubbock City Council prepares to approve of an ordinance dealing urban chickens. The council will vote tonight to allow citizens in Lubbock to have up to six chickens at home. Nation-wide there is a growing movement of people who live within city limits who own chickens. The measure is expected to pass at City Hall tonight. Included in the ordinance is a rule that bans roosters inside city limits.
