The TABC has released per capita consumption statistics for April in the state of Texas.

46,643,401 gallons of beer were sold in April, with a per capita consumption of 1.8 gallons. An estimated 4,236,833 gallons of wine were sold with a per capita consumption of .16 gallons. Between the sales of distilled spirits, wine, beer and ale $17,158,367 was collected in sales taxes.
