Another Lubbock ISD Board Member, Mario Ybarra, Announced Re-Election Campaign

Another Lubbock ISD board member has announced a re-election campaign for 2012. Mario Ybarra announced yesterday he would seek re-election to the LISD board of trustees for District 1. He has served on the board since 2005.

Ybarra said, “All schools in Texas face significant challenges with the cuts to school funding. Our board has done a good job of managing resources during this state funding crisis and I want to continue to serve on the board and be a voice for students in District 1.”
