DALLAS (AP) — Another cousin who in 2015 shot at federal agents in a Dallas neighborhood is heading to prison for the drug-related attack that left an officer wounded.

Edgar Solorzano was sentenced Monday to more than 19 years. The 24-year-old Solorzano pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, plus to assault and weapons charges.

Records show 32-year-old Victor Manuel Solorzano earlier this month was sentenced to 47 years. The older cousin in April was convicted of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, plus assault and weapons counts.

The men lived across the street from each other. Prosecutors say the cousins together fired more than 40 shots at two federal officers trying to install a court-ordered tracking device on Victor Solorzano's vehicle.

One agent suffered hand and foot wounds.
