American Red Cross to Honor Heroes on 9-11

The event is called Champions Breakfast.  It will take place September 11 at 8 a.m. at Aerocare.  Alee Hartline at the American Red Cross told KFYO that some of the heroes are first responders.  But some of the heroes are people who just happened to be at the right place at the right time.  Like a man who recently rescued a woman involved in a wreck.

“He was just a guy who happened to be at that place at that time, and very selflessly ran in and jumped in to save her,” Hartline said.
