American Airlines Cancels Additional 296 Flights Friday

American Airlines canceled another 296 flights yesterday due to hail damage from severe storms earlier this week in Dallas.
The cancellations affected flights in and out of the DFW Airport. Between American and its affiliate American Eagle about 1,900 flights have been canceled since the storms Tuesday. The financial damage caused by cancellations and repairs has not yet been estimated; however similar instances have resulted in tens of millions of dollars in losses.
