Alliance Credit Union Offers Unique Loans to Furloughed Employees

As the ongoing government shutdown nears its fourth week, thousands of federal employees across the U.S. won’t be receiving their paychecks on Friday.

But Alliance Credit Union is hoping to provide at least some relief to those furloughed government employees with their Shut Down Relief loan program.

Shut Down Relief offers loans with a standard qualifying rate and a reasonable re-payment plan. That means that qualifying furloughed employees of the government can receive the money they need right now while their paychecks are in limbo.

The best aspect of the Shut Down Relief loans, is the fact that the repayment plan doesn’t begin until April 15^th, or roughly 90 days after the loan is approved.
