Around 7:20 p.m on Monday, February 29, a residence in the 2400 block of 30th Street was searched by the Lubbock Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, Street Crimes Unit and the SWAT Team.

The "high-risk raid" yielded heroine, methamphetamine and seven firearms with serial numbers on three of the guns intentionally removed.

Of those seven firearms, five were reported stolen in recent Hub City burglaries.

Among the weapons were:

Two sawed-off 12 gauge shotguns; a short barreled AK-47 assault rifle; a short-barreled AR-15 assault rifle; a Kimber II .45 caliber pistol; a Remington 700 30.06 rifle; and a muzzle loader.

Resident of the home, Chad Stricklan, was arrested on site and taken to the Lubbock County Jail.

Stricklan will face multiple state and federal charges.
