A Southwest Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Lubbock.

The plane landed at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport just before 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. A woman passenger had a stroke mid-flight, forcing the landing.

As the plane landed, emergency medical crews were already on scene to take the woman to an area hospital for treatment. No word yet on her condition.
