An annual program and reception will take place at a City of Lubbock library next weekend.

The eleventh annual African-American History Month Program and Reception will be held at the Patterson Branch Library on Saturday, February 23rd.

The event begins at 2 p.m. at the library, located at 1836 Parkway drive.

This year’s theme is “Celebrating Noble Men and Women of Valor,” and members of local law enforcement will be honored at the event. Refreshments will also be served following the program.
