Activists of the local group W.A.S.P or Warriors Against Synthetic Pot, have expanded their protests to another Texas city.

KAMC News reported that W.A.S.P gathered outside a smoke shop in Plainview on Friday to protest the sale of synthetic marijuana.

The Plainview WASP group formed to mimic the group in Lubbock. Founder of the Plainview group, Crystal Davenport said, ""As a mother, its horrible to know that it's here and I want it gone. I want to ban it. I want to criminalize it and I want it out of Plainview."

"We applaud Lubbock for taking a firm stance against it." Said Plainview Councilman, Charles Starnes. " We just hope that Plainview and Hale county can do something equally effective."

The groups plans to protest every Friday until they realize their goal.
