AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report Results Released Thursday May 29th

Results from the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch report have been released.

According to the report, the statewide average gas price is $3.46 per gallon, up six cents from last week.

The national average currently stands at $3.65 per gallon. That's 19 cents higher than the state average.

Drivers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area are paying the most for their gas at $3.53 per gallon, while those in Amarillo are paying the least at $3.37.

Corpus Christi is seeing an average of $3.44 a gallon, and drivers in the El Paso area have a price of $3.47.

Texas is currently among the top ten states with the least expensive gas price average in the country.
