AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report Results Released for June 5, 2014

Results of the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report have been released.

The statewide average price for a gallon of gas remains the same as last week at $3.46. The national average  increased slightly by one cent this week to $3.66 a gallon.

Once again, those in Dallas are paying the most in Texas at $3.53 a gallon and of the cities surveyed by AAA Texas, drivers in Amarillo are paying the least at $3.36 a gallon.

AAA Texas says that gas prices are expected to remain relatively the same throughout the summer months and encourages drivers to maximize fuel efficiency by keeping cars and trucks maintained.
