AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report for June 14th 2014

Results of the recent AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report were released today for the weekend of June 14th.

Current statewide gas prices are at $3.44 per gallon, two cents less than last week’s average, and twenty one cents less than the national average of $3.65.

Again, those in the Dallas area are paying the most at $3.49 per gallon while those in San Antonio are seeing a slight drop to $3.38.

Overall, Texas drivers are paying about $48 to fill up a 14-gallon sized fuel tank.

AAA Texas says that for the past three years the national average for a gallon of gas has steadily declined throughout the summer months, and that 2014 data seems to support that claim.
