AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report for July 18th

Results of the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report for July 18th have been released.

The statewide average price for a gallon of unleaded gasoline currently stands at $3.45. That's three cents less than last week's average and seven cents less than the average of this time last year.

The national average price is currently $3.59, which is fourteen cents more than the state-wide average.

According to AAA Texas, those in Amarillo are paying the least at $3.36. El Paso is reportedly paying the most in the state at $3.54 a gallon.

Drivers in the Dallas and Fort Worth area are seeing $3.48 a gallon. Houston drivers are seeing a slight drop in price from last week at $3.44.

AAA Texas analysts expect pump prices to continue to decline or remain flat throughout the remainder of the summer.
