AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report for July 10th

The AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report has been released for the weekend of July 10^th.

The statewide average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is currently $3.48. That's two cents less than the average of last week.

The national average price stands at $3.64 cents a gallon, which is three cents lower than last weeks average.

Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed by AAA Texas, drives in El Paso are paying the most in Texas at $3.54.

Those in the Dallas and Fort Worth area are paying around $3.51 for a gallon of gas, and those in the Houston are paying the slightly lower price of $3.47.

AAA analysts expect pump prices to lower throughout the coming weeks despite continuing violence in the Middle East.
