COPPELL, Texas (AP) — Retail gasoline prices in Texas and the rest of the country are up this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the average price at the pump statewide rose 3 cents to reach $2.08 per gallon. Nationwide gasoline prices increased by a penny to reach an average $2.27 per gallon.

The association survey found San Antonio has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at an average $1.99 per gallon. Drivers in Dallas face the highest gasoline prices in the state at an average $2.19 per gallon.

AAA experts say the crude oil market has been trending slightly upward after recent reports showed a decline in inventories.
