“A Prairie Home Companion” to be Performed and Broadcast from Lubbock This Saturday

One of the last vestiges of live radio theater will be performed in Lubbock this weekend. Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" will be at the City Bank Auditorium on Saturday.

Musical guests for Saturday's event are The Flatlanders, and singer Ashley Monroe.

The event gets underway at 4:45p before the live broadcast starts at 5p. "A Prairie Home Companion" can be heard on Texas Tech's NPR radio station, 89.1 KTTZ-FM.

Ticket prices range from $30-$50, plus service charges, and can be purchased online, or at Lubbock Select-A-Seat locations.
