The clinic is a non-profit organization that has operated for 75 years within Lubbock with a goal of providing healthcare to children in need around Lubbock and the surrounding communities.

“Our mission is to provide quality, comprehensive primary healthcare to the medically underserved children of Lubbock and surrounding communities,” Said Executive Director of Lubbock Children’s Health Clinic Sue Hill, “without regard to race, color, sex, national origin or parents’ ability to pay.”

According to the clinic, the grant will be used to provide acute and preventative health services for newborn children to age 19. Specifically, Hill said the funding will help the group to maintain their presence in North Lubbock.

Lubbock Children’s Health Clinic has two clinics in Lubbock servicing the county and the surrounding communities. One is located at 302 North University Avenue and the other is at 1801 East 14th Street. The clinics are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and can provide health care, immunizations and physicals for newborn children through age 19.
