South Plains College is offering a firearms safety class later this month. The NRA Home Firearm Safety class will meet on Saturday, October 27th at 8am in the Law Enforcement Technology Building.  The class is four hours long and will take short breaks every hour.

The course is for safe gun handling that is conducted in the classroom only. Students will be taught the NRA's three rules for safe gun handling, primary causes of firearm accidents, how to unload certain action types and the benefits of becoming active in shooting sports.
