5th Friday Arts on the Slaton Square Event Scheduled For January 31st

A regular event in Slaton will be held later this month.

The first 5th Friday Arts on the Slaton Square Event for 2014 will be held on January 31st.

The art galleries on the square will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. and will showcase visual artists from Texas Tech’s graduate, undergraduate, and alumni programs, as well as local and regional artists.

A Jewelry as Art Exhibit will be held at Multiplicity Art Gallery, and other artworks will be available for purchase as well at many of the event’s venues.

Other businesses on the square will remain open that evening as well, including the Slaton Bakery, the Railroad Museum, the Slaton Museum, the Town Square Antique Mall, and the Quilt Shop.
