He was the FW Star Telegram's Defensive Player of the Year
Miller was the FW Star Telegram Defensive Player of the Year. With 119 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, 15 QB hurries, 4 forced fumbles and one blocked field goal, he was an easy choice.

He was on the Associated Press Sports Editor's All-State team at two positions
Not only was Miller an APSE First Team All-State defensive end, he was also an Honorable Mention at linebacker.

He's played some Tight End

Miller chose the Red Raiders over 14 other offers
With 15 total offers including Cal, Iowa and Boston College, Houston Miller committed to Texas Tech.
