2nd Annual Carol of Lights Run to Take Place at Texas Tech [Audio]

Monday on Lubbock's First News, Ainsley Nelson, with West Texas Endurance, described the 2nd annual Carol of Lights Run.

The Carol of Lights run is a 5k and mile run/walk. The 5k route will take runners and walkers through the Jones AT&T Stadium. Participants will meet at Memorial Circle on the Tech campus on December 8 at 6:30 p.m. Registration costs $30 for adults and $20 for children under 13. Registration before the event can be done at the Cardinals on Slide Rd, December 6 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. or December 7 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Event day registration will be from 5:00-6:15 p.m.

The Carol of Lights event during which the campus will be lit up will take place on December 3. Nelson said, "It's a great community event, tapping into something we all cherish her in Lubbock: the Carol of Lights."
