Facebook

On the Wednesday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Jordan Wheatley from the West Texas Home Builders Association talked with Chad Hasty about their upcoming show.

The 2014 Annual Home and Garden Show is taking place this weekend. This year, the show will feature 85 different exhibitors showcasing the latest in outdoor and indoor home and garden trends. There will also be a raffle at the end of the show to win a $8,000 backyard makeover.

Wheatley explained that the show has always been popular in West Texas because it has signaled the end of winter and inspired people to start getting ready for spring. He said with more exhibitors than ever, he expects this year’s show to have the highest attendance yet.

The 2014 Home and Garden Show will take place Friday, February 28th through Sunday, March 2nd, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Show times are 4 PM to 8 PM on Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, and 12PM to 6 PM on Sunday. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under, and are available at the door. A portion of the proceeds will also go to benefit Lubbock Homes for Heroes.
