On the Monday edition of The Chad Hasty Show, Jordan Wheatley from the West Texas Home Builders Association talked with Chad Hasty about this year's upcoming Parade of Homes.

The 2013 Lubbock Parade of Homes, entitled "Texas Sized Dreams" will kick off this month. This year, the parade will feature homes from three subdivisions: Oakmont Estates at 118th and Slide, Primrose Pointe at 68th and Milwaukee, and Verrado Estates at 50th and FM 179. Wheatley said this year promises to be the biggest Parade of Homes yet, with over 25 different homes on display and over 100,000 square feet of living space. The homes range in price from $200,000 to over $1.2 million.

The Parade of Homes starts Sunday, June 8th and will run until June 23rd. Homes will be available for viewing 6PM to 9 PM on weeknights and 1 PM to 6 PM on weekends. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Proceeds from the tickets will go to the Homes for Heroes organization, which gives a mortgage-free home to a deserving member of the military.
