Senate Candidate Ted Cruz Supports Keystone Pipeline
“You know, I think it is absolutely crazy.”
That’s U.S. Senate candidate Ted Cruz on Lubbock’s First News on KFYO. He was talking about President Obama’s opposition to the Keystone pipeline.
“It is typical of this administration. For three years we have seen a war on jobs. You look at this Keystone project. Everyone agrees that this project would produce thousands, tens of thousands
of
high-paying jobs in the U.S. And yet with a stroke of the pen, he kills those jobs.”
Cruz also said the risk of an oil spill is lower with a pipeline compared to a tanker.
