Golfers in the area can play at one of the area’s finest courses, and help support Texas Tech athletics.

The 15th Annual Red Raider open will be held at The Rawls Course on June 2nd, and registration is now open.

The Red Raider open is a one-day tournament that provides annual assistance to nearly 400 student-athletes through the Red Raider Scholarship Fund.

Registration is $280 per team, and $75 for individuals, and includes greens fee, cart, range balls, on-course beverages (four tickets), lunch, and a voucher for two football game tickets to the season opener against Northwestern State on September 1st.

The tournament is a four-person scramble, and will feature prizes for a hole-in-one, closest to the pin, and longest drive.

“The Red Raider Open is always an exciting time to play a great round of golf for a special cause, particularly this year as we’ve moved the event to the outstanding Rawls Course,” said Associate Athletics Director Amy Heard.

“We’ve worked hard with our partners and The Rawls Course to make sure this is an event that provides extreme value to our donors and fans, while allowing everyone to mix and mingle with other Red Raiders including our coaching staffs and administration.”

Registration can be completed online at www.redraiderclub.com or by calling 742-1196.
