Halloween is next Monday, and that means this weekend will be filled with frights and trick or treat opportunities. Here's a list of events you can go to in order to get your fill of the Halloween holiday.

Have a happy Halloween!

  • First Christian Church annual “Trunk or Treat” on Sunday, October 30 from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm in the West parking lot of the church.

    There will be trick or treating from trunk to trunk, games, and a bounce house for kids of all ages to enjoy! The First Christian Church Praise Band will provide entertainment and a raffle drawing will be held every 20 minutes. Frito pie, hot dogs, and drinks will be available to purchase for $1 each. A non-scary, fun, and science-based children’s “Spooky House” will be led by the college students of our church.

  • Science Spectrum Silly Science Carnival Thursday, October 27 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

    Check out this exciting, fun Fall event just for pre-schoolers! This mini carnival takes place in the Exhibit Hall and Museum and is perfect for those younger ones that might not want to get out and compete with the older kids at the other Halloween events.
  • Science Spectrum Spooky Science Carnival Friday, October 28 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

    Enjoy spooky lab experiments, carnival games, prizes, trick-or-treats, the Spooky Scientist Show, spooky critters, children & family costume contests, as well as other spooky-not-scary Halloween activities!
  • Mahon Library Costume Party Thursday, October 27 10:30 am

    DRess up in your best costume and have a spooktacular time.

  • Fall Fest on Buddy Holly Ave. Saturday, October 29 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

    There will be food trucks, live music performances, and a vendor market featuring products from the Lubbock area and beyond. It will be held in the Depot District South of 19th Street on Buddy Holly Ave.
  • Spook House Maze at the Boys & Girls Club on 58th Oct 28th 2016 6:00 PM, Oct 29th 2016 6:00 PM, October 31st 2016 6:00 PM

    For 6 year olds and up. $5. Club members with their card will get in FREE. Great fun for everyone 6 years old and up! Don't Miss the Annual Spook House Maze at Lubbock Boys & Girls Club! It's a 430-linear-foot maze, obstacle course with displays and tunnels. There will also be a concession stand available with Halloween treats.
  • Redeemer Church Trunk or Treat October 28th at 6:30

    A safe environment to Trick or Treat on our newly paved parking lot! There will be food, coffee, and some bounce houses.
  • "TRUCKIN IT AT THE PARK" Trunk or Treat on October 29th at 11:00 am

    This event will be free to the public, we ask that you bring a can food donation to help the South Plains Food Bank.

  • Tech Law Halloween Carnival on October 29th at noon

    Free Annual Halloween Carnival provided by Texas Tech School of Law, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and other participating organizations within the school.
  • Highland Baptist Trunk or Treat on October 30th at 4:00 pm

    Trunk-or-Treat at Highland Baptist Family Life Center parking lot. Highland will be hosting a Trunk or Treat.
